They usually work either in private or in a health care clinics or facilities. A chiropractic must have a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, which usually takes four years to complete. Education/Demands for this profession: The entry criteria, structure, teaching methodology and nature of chiropractic programs offered at chiropractic schools vary considerably around the world.Regardless of the model of education utilized, prospective chiropractors without relevant prior health care education or experience must spend no less than 4200 student/teacher contact hours (or the equivalent) in four years of full‐time education. This includes a minimum of 1000 hours of supervised clinical training.

Reflection: I do want to be a chiropractor because you can help people with pain problems for example bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons and many other ones.

   The Twin Tower Crashed

The Twin Tower collapsed on September 11,2001. As a result of the center's Twin Towers being hit by jet airlines hijacked by terrorists. The two airplanes had more than 100 people inside, the south tower collapsed at 9:59 a.m less than an hour a second airplane was hijacked and at 10:28 a.m the north tower was collapsed.The North Tower collapsed at 10:28 am, after burning for 102 minutes. After the South Tower collapsed, FDNY commanders issued orders for firefighters in the North Tower to evacuate. Later that day the 7 world trade center had collapsed at 5:21 p.m from the fires that had started when the north tower collapsed.

 “We learn to do by doing”

This quote is trying to say it that when you are doing something you learn on how to do it and you don’t forget what you did.For example, you’re washing clothes and you don’t know how your mom comes in the laundry room and shows you then,the next day you go back inside and start putting in clothes and you forgot and your mom is not there you will have to try to do it because it is your turn or a chore you have to do all the time.Then you turn on the washer and start washing you put in everything it needs.When you come back the washer is now done because you learn to do it by doing it.Next you have to put it in the dryer so that it can dry but you dont know how much time you are support to put it so you just guess.You have came back and the clothes are not dry so you put more time and then it drys.You come because it was dry and then you fold the clothes and then you are done with the clothes.Then you will come back and do it over and over again.

 Emergency Medical Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:They are responsible for rushing to the scene of crisis and can perform basic life-saving techniques,including:Patient assessment or emergency birth assistant.Extraction of patients from dangerous situations.

Education/Demands or needs for this profession:Approved training program(s) at the appropriate EMT level; some programs lead to certificates or associate's degrees.State licensure; most states utilize the exams proctored by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).

Reflection:I don’t want to be a EMT because i am not interested in this pathway right now.

This quote is saying that if you met people you don't have to change so that they can like you because if you change and they find out you lied to them they wouldn't want to be your friend because you lied to them.Also if you are yourself people will like you for beening yourself and not letting others change you to get more or better friends because you know that you want to be with the friends you have and you want to stay with them and be yourself.For example you coming into a new school and be the oppisite,lets say that you are a nice,shy,and you don't care about what people say about yoyand that you are a good student so that is all you but when you enter you start being mean,social,getting into fights,and being a bad student people will start to think that you are abad person and they wouldn't want to be your friend.That is why you would want to be yourself and you wouldn't want people to determine that you are mean.So be youself around others and you won't be fake.

       

        Ear Nose Throat Doctor

Duties and responsibilities:Otolaryngology are the oldest medical specialty in the United States.They are physicians that are trained in the medical and surgical management and treatment of patients with diseases and disorders of their ears,nose or throat.

Salary:$354,750-$357,091

Education/Demand need for this profession:To become an ENT doctor,you will begin by pursuing the traditional route to and through medical school.Score well on the MCAT and earn a high undergraduate GPA,especially in the core science courses of biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, and physics. Obtain clinical experiences that allow you to shadow an ENT doctor so that you will begin to understand the realities of the profession.  Apply to complete four years of medical school. During the last two years, you can take specialized coursework in otolaryngology.After you’ve completed your residency, which includes a year of surgery training, apply for your state medical license as well as obtain board certification through the American Board of Otolaryngology.Board certified physicians are the most reputable and knowledgeable in their fields of specialization. Even after all this training, know that you will be required to renew your license every 7-10 years depending on the state; this is typically done through Continued Medical Education.

Reflection:I don’t want to be this kind of medical doctor because i am not a medical person.Also because i dont like dealing with medicince.

This quote is trying to say that is you are obedient you becoming happy or you’re already happy.For example,in our country all kids have to go to school and we all have to do and follow rules that are given to us.I also think this quote is trying to say that if you are becoming,being,and remaining happy you will be like that of the rest of your life and you won’t have to worry about being rude and disrespectful to anyone because you know how to treat people, like when your walking and someone says “hi” to you you have to respond “hi “ back or sometimes someone says “hi” you are walking that makes you look disrespectful to others.

Students in LAUSD are important to all schools, peole belive we are smart and that we are thier future.LAUSD belives in us and that they are here to help ur graduate so we can choose and go sraight to college or to enter so career that we like or want to be one day.They want us to learnand improve to skills we all will need for example:Critical-thinking,problem-sovling,communication,collaboration,and creativity.We can all be successful no matter what choises we all make.They expect for everyone of us to come to school and prepare ourselfs for new skills.They also want us to know that we are next.

Reflection:I think LAUSD is trying their best to help us accomplish our goals.Also that they want us to be like them one day, they want us to improve on everything we need to do.AI want to thank them for helping us on everything like school.

             What i think this quotes is saying is that if you are choosing the right path you dont feel ba dabout what you did, and if you always choose that right thing to do it is good because people dont say "look they are bad, mean, selfish, and etc" they dont say that because they are respecting you with honor. Also it you choose the wrong then they will tell you bad thing and you wouldn't feel good at all because like yo cant feel right when you do something wrong because that is impossible.

Dermatologist

Duties and responsibilities: A policeman is responsible for maintaining safety and security by enforcing the law. Officers patrol the streets in cars, respond to 911 calls, tracks down criminals, arrest offenders, and directs traffic, among other duties.

Education/Demands for this particular career: The education of a police officer begins in the academy, but continues on the job.Police officers have to at least have a high school diploma or equivalent; some agencies require college level training or a degree.

Reflectoin: I do want to be one because i want to patrol the streets and protect others.

  What John Wooden means by this quote is that a person can't change their personality because they are a basketball player they have to be the same person they were no matter what people tell them because they know that they are being their-self and no one else. You have to learn to respect others and accept other by the way they are

 What i think this quote means is that money can't buy happiness. You have to earn the happiness because money can't buy everything you want you sometimes have to show and earn it because with out it you feel empty and sad. Many of you may say you don't need love because your happy the way you are but everyone needs someone to love and all that because with out love what is the whole point of any of this, but you need love because you need someone by your side when you are feeling down but the people that say they don't really need it they are the ones that need it the most because they feel sad, lonely, depressed,and etc. Also because they never feel in love and they never felt love at all because they say they don't need it but they do. Love is when two people touch each others soul, honest, truthful,helping one another,mutual respect, it is a connection of two hearts and etc. that is what that one person need.

              Dental Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities: Assistants who perform lab tasks, such as taking impressions of a patient’s teeth, work under the direction of a dentist. They may prepare materials of dental impressions or to create temporary crowns. All dental assistants complete certain tasks, such as helping dentists with procedures and keeping patient records.

Education/Demands need for this procedure: It takes a relatively short period of time to become a dental assistant. Dental assistants receive their formal education through academic programs at community colleges, vocational schools, technical institutes, universities or dental schools. Graduates of these programs usually receive certificates. Although the majority of academic dental assisting programs take nine to eleven months to complete, some schools offer accelerated training, part-time education programs or training via distance education.                         

Reflection: I don’t want to be a dental assistant because i don’t really like looking into human mouth and taking off teeth they don’t need because i feel like i am going to throw-up.

                  Ezra T. Benson once said ''You cannot do wrong and feel right. It is impossible.''

When he said ''You cannot do wrong and feel right. It is impossible.''He meant if you do wrong your not suppose to feel good about id because you did wrong and your not suppose to do anything wrong be it is impossible to feel right about it because you know in the inside you feel really bad inside but you don't want to show it. Only you can feel right when you do something right, that is when you choose to be happy and when you are happy you can get things done and you aren't behind. For example what if you were helping an old lay move her things wouldn't that make you feel right and another example what if you broke a person's window you wouldn't feel right you would feel bad but if you did wrong you wouldn't feel right because you know inside your head or mind you feel bad about what you did to the window and you want to say the true but your afraid to get yelled at by your parent or the person. Also put yourself in her shoes you wouldn't want to come home with a window broken you would want to find out who broke you window that is why you should always choose the right.That is my opinion of what Ezra meant with that quote.

 Abraham Lincoln once said ''When I do good, I feel good.'' When I do bad, I feel bad.'' I think the quote is trying to say is that when he is doing good he feels good about himself and others feel good about him. When he say the other quote he is saying that when he does something bad he doesn't feel good because he let down the people that care about him and the people that are supporting him. He has let down his family so he feels bad on what he did. Duties and Responsibilities: They have to examine the dental or oral health of patients of all ages and administer treatment accordingly.A general dentist's role is similar to that of a primary care physician in that they care for the overall dental needs of patients.

Depending on their specialty, dentists may have a number of other professional responsibilities.

Education/Demands for this profession: They all have to complete a course, such as biology and chemistry  before they enter a dentist school. They at least need a bachelor’s degree to enter the most dental programs. Dental school program typically include coursework in subject such as local anesthesia, anatomy, periodontics, and radiology.

Reflection: i am not interested in the because i am not good in a medical pathway. I already have a pathway in the future.
