Class Evaluation

Something I like about the class is that it helps us learn how to type fast without looking at the keys. Also it helps us learn on new quotes that we have never heard of like for example:  “Kindness is the essence of greatness  -Joseph B. Wirthlin” and there is even more. Then there is on how we do projects. I like doing projects in the class because you can work with anyone you want and you have to be creative about your project.

I don’t have anything against this class because this is a nice class.This is a nice class because the teacher is specific on what to do and things like that. The teacher is pretty nice and care about the “CTR” and “CTW”.

I don’t want to change the class because i like the way it is and it is a clean classroom. Also the class should stay the same so that every-time I walk in the class I don’t think i am in the wrong class.

A highlight for me in this class was to meet new people and have a good grade in this class. So that I don’t have to keep on taking this class over and over again because after awhile i will start to get bored because i know all of this.

I think i tried my best in this class because if I didn’t i wouldn’t have a C or higher grade in this class is I didn’t try my best. Also if I didn’t try my best i would've have “D” or “F” in the class.

I am doing my life planning journal because if i wasn’t doing it i would’ve had all of the months date empty all the the time and i would have “no” all the time. So, my life planning journal would’ve been empty too.

I am committed to be a “CTR” person so that I can get more people to like me because I am not mean or cruel. Also, people will invite me to parties and etc. but, people will also trust me because of my actions.

 

                               Honesty

In the video i learn that cheating is not good because it won’t get you anywhere in life. What if one day you want to have your own family but you can’t get a house for yourself because all your life you have been cheating and that is how you learned to life you entire life. Also the video showed me that cheating won’t take you anywhere in life because you won’t know what to do because the only way you know is by cheating and those people that you cheat off won’t be there forever because they also have things to do and you won’t have nothing to do because you might be living with you mom for the rest of you life.

What i understand from this quote is that if you tell a lie they keep adding up and if you stop lies they will fade away like nothing ever happened. For example: if you tell your mom your going out with your friends house to study and you actually go out with your friends and then another time you tell your mom you are going to the library and you go to your friends house. The more lies you say the more lies that you will remember and if you stop saying lies the more you will forget them. So, if you tell the truth, it becomes part of your past. If you tell a lie, it becomes part of you future.

When patrick went camping with his family his parents told him to put his shoe on but when he was going for a walk he said it would be for a few minutes and he won’t go far from camp so he took his flip-flops because he thought they were always shoe so he went for a walk. When a few minutes passed he felt a sting on his foot and when he looked down her saw it was a scorpion and he leg hurted a lot and he grab his leg so that i can stop hurting so he yelled for help  and his parents came running and shoved him in the car and the went to the nearest hospital which was 2 hours away and he thought he was going to die so when the went to the hospital they cured him and he had learned his lesson.

What i understand from this quote is that if you always do the right thing people will trust you. You have so many things to do in one day. Sometimes you forget to do things or sometimes you don’t want to do it because you are lazy. But something you should always do is the right thing because when you are in a big problem and your friends tell you to do something that is bad you know you are not suppose to do then don’t do it because you know it is not the right thing to do. You should always do right no matter in what situation you’re in so that when the situation is over you don’t get blamed.

This is very important because if you have company with the wrong crowd it can get you into problem and you can’t hang out with negative people and expect to have a positive life. People think being alone make you lonely, but that’s not true. Being surrounded by the wrong people is the loneliest thing because you know that’s not who you are. Your life will get better when you realize it’s better to be alone than to chase people who don’t really care about you.

  

                                                  WORLD WAR II

The dates for World War II is September 1,1939-September 2,1945. The countries that fought against world war II was between  two groups of counties. On one side were Axis Powers, including Germany, Italy, and Japan. On the other side were the Allies. They included France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, China, and United States of America. It took place all over that world, including East Asia, Europe and the islands in the Pacific Ocean. Some fighting was seen as far away as the Aleutian Islands, Madagascar and South America. Major Events of World War II. When Hitler invaded Poland in September 1939, France and Britain declared war on Germany. After conquering Poland, Germany attacked France. France fell in June 1940, and soon the Nazis overran most of the rest of Europe and North Africa.

We can show honor and show respect on WWII veterans by being thankful that they saved our country.

  Challenges Teens Face Today

Several major challenges that teens deal with is suicide, cyberbullying and school bullying, abuse, violence at home, and violence culture. I am dealing with suicide.Something i am doing is ignoring the comments people tell me that i am not important, born by mistake, and telling me to put a gun on my head. I am ignoring those comments because i know that is not true and people talk or say things about you because they feel sad or depressed and they want to take it out one someone that has no idea what is going on. Being a CTR person makes me overcome any challenges i face because every-time i hear people saying things to me i use those negative comments so that it can help me achieve my goals.

The greatest need that teens have is to be trusted, safe, loved, heard, and to find purpose in life.

What i understand from the quote is that the relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. Your body can stand almost anything, but it is your mind you have to convince. The human body and mind are tremendous forces that continually amaze, we have no choice but to keep an open mind as to what the human being can achieve. The struggle you’re in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow. There are moments when the human body can overcome things you would never expect. The human body experiences a powerful gravitational pull in the direction of hope.  There are hidden ingredients in any prescription.

                    Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities: Health science librarians provides access to medical information through books, pamphlets, journals, tapes, multimedia presentations, and the internet. Health science librarians help health providers, patients, and students sort through the vast amount of information available.

Salary: $66,622

Education/Demands or needs for this profession: Student must graduate from a high school, taking classes such as English, math, typing, and science. A four-year bachelor’s degree is then required, including courses such as science and computer science. A master's degree in library science [MLS] is mandatory. Courses include scientific literature, biomedical communication, bibliographic resource use, library organization and management, and standard cataloging systems. While health science librarians are not required to be certified, the Medical Library Association does offer certification examinations which would help a librarian advance to a higher position.

Reflection:I don’t think i want to be a Health Sciences Librarian because it is not a pathway i want to become.

                                                         Thanksgiving Week
During thanksgiving break i went to my cousin’s house to sleep over.Then the next day i was drawing for 3hr. and then i went outside and played soccer with my neighbor. i went to the mall to go and buy a new sweater, shoes, iphone case, and to buy clothes.Then we had gotten home at 12:00p.m so we went to the store to get things to cook because me, my mom, and my sister we going to help my mom cook. After that, the next day had passed and we went to the beach. We had a good time because i spend time with my family and we came home at 5:00p.m and we all took showers and changed.Then after we finish doing all of that we had went to the movie theater to watch the movies “Moana” and “Fantastic Beast and where can you find them”,we came out at 10:p.m because one of the movies were 2hrs long.On Wednesday we went out to eat and when we came home we went to Bakersfield to visit my aunt and we had to pack clothes because we were going to spend the last 5days over there.Later that day i went in the pool she had.then on thanksgiving day we all thanked god for everything he gave us. Then on Sunday at 8:00p.m we have left because our thanksgiving break was over and when we were leaving i was getting my wet clothes and my cousin had pushed me in the pool so i had to shower and change again.Then we went home and slept and it was Monday.

What i understand about the quote is that if you have manners and you respect others they will respect you because of the way you are treating them.Also if you have manners you know what to say for example when you burp you have to say “excuse me” or “i’m sorry”.Then when you are trying to pass you say “excuse me” or “can you please move so that i can pass…..”then you say “thank you’.Manners is very important in life because you have to have manners everywhere you go so that you look like a person that cares on how manners work .

What i understand from the quote it that if we heard people trying to give us something bad we have to have to courage to say no because you know it is wrong.You shouldn’t be afraid to say no because you are standing for what is right and not wrong.We also have to have courage to face the truth because without you facing the truth you know you will have it as a memory.You have to face the truth because if you don't you know it will affect you mentally and you will have to live with it all you life,and when you confence you won’t feel nervous and things like that,When we do the right thing because it is right we are showing other people that they can do the same we can.So when you need to do something that is right you should do it because it is the right thing to do and you want to show people what is right and what is wrong.There are 2 different words that describe what you do “good” or “bad” which one describes you as the person you are right now.

What this quote is trying to say is that if you hang out with the wrong crowd you get bad things in return and you don’t do anything you have to do.Also if you do hang out with the wrong crowd you won’t get things done the way others want it.Then if you don’t hang out  with the wrong crowd you start to do the right things and accomplish what you want to accomplish.Don’t the the wrong group of people get in you way because they you will become like them.You can’t have bad friends that make you do the wrong thing,you have to have riends that hepl you and give you a hand when you need their help,

What he is trying to say it that the best recreation you do will be good because of the things you do.For example,when you are doing something people that walk by always comment that they like it.That is when you can recreate things that you done in the past now.But when you do this you will start recreating things that you never finished or started on.

Education/ demands for this profession:You will need to have a bachelor’s degree or higher in health education,public health education or health promotion.Pass Certified Health Education Specialist exam.

Reflection:I am not sure if i want to be a Health Educator,i might be interested in this pathway.

Reflection:I don’t want to be a Healthcare Administrator because i am not interested in the medical pathway.

What Thomas is trying to say it that you know that your so-called friends are doing something wrong and they want you to be in it to and you know it is wrong you have to be the one and that stands for the right and say ''no..i can't'' and then leave.You should be the one that is standing for good even if you are standing alone because it's the right thing to do and you shouldn't lie because you are scared, you have to stand for what ir right and only for what is right.You should have the courage to be a light for others to follow and be l;ike you and never giving up on what is right.So if they stand alone choosung the wrong incourage them to choose the right.

Education/Demands for this particular career:Most fine artists earn a bachelor’s or master’s degree in fine arts in order to improve their skills and job prospects.A formal educational credential is typically not needed for craft artists. Craft and fine artists improve their skills through practice and repetition.

Reflection:I would love to be one to these because when i was small i would do lots of crafts and now as i am getting older i am starting to draw and paint.I would like to become and artists or a crafts person.

Duties and Responsibilities:They are responsible for enforcing local,state,and federal regulations that pertain to the sanitation of food and water,handling of hazardous and infectious wastes, and cleanliness and safety of housing and institutional environments.

Education/Demands for this profession:Earn you Bachelor’s degree.Most workers earn their bachelor’s degree by a chemistry or biology.They involved coursework may also cover environmental law compliance,  compliance, industrial waste management, occupational safety, ergonomics, construction safety and organizational leadership, industrial hygiene and toxicology.They also have to gain more experience.Many of the employers are hired to safety professionals who have at least 1 to 3 years of professional experience.There are other specialty certifications that are available from organizations and other professional boards that you could receive.

Reflection:I kinda do want to be a  Environmental Health Specialist because i like working outside and i care about animals and plants on how they are growing.

What he means by this quote is that if you want to get whatever you want to go get it because if you start in a good place in life you can do or get anything in life because you are trying you best to get wake you want to get an you have been working hard to earn it or get it.Like if you want to to really got something you'll focus on it because thta is the only thing you want right now and you don't want to mees this up.So to get what you want you must set goals so that you can achieve those goals and you are not suppose to give up because you know you are not a quiter.So you have to make goals to you can achieve and be succesful in youe own way.And if you really want that then you have to be on the right track for that so that you can achvie it.The goals you accomplish for yourselfs is a good start for your whole life.

Christopher Columbus was born on October 31, 1451,he was born in Italy.His name in Italian is Cristoforo Colomdo and his name in spanish was Cristobal Colon.The territory he was born in was a Republic Of Genoa.He was an Italian-born navigator who sailed in the service of Spain.He commonly described as the discoverer of the New World America. Although Columbus was in search of a westward route to Asia by sea, the discoveries he did make were more important and valuable than the route he had to find. It is certain, however, that Columbus was not the first European to cross the Atlantic. Documentary evidence supports claims that the Vikings reached the New World about A.D. 1000. And there is good circumstantial evidence, though no documentation, to suggest that both Portuguese and English fishing vessels made the crossing during the 14th century; they probably landed in Newfoundland and Labrador. Columbus, though he sailed a different route, followed many Europeans who earlier had crossed the Atlantic. Columbus first went to sea as a teenager, participating in several trading voyages in the Mediterranean and Aegean seas.
