                                              Chiropractor



Duties and Responsibilities: Chiropractors are health care providers who work with patients dealing with problems related to bones, muscles, ligaments and tendons. They usually work either in private or in a health care clinics or facilities. A chiropractic must have a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, which usually takes four years to complete. The median annual salary for chiropractors in 2011 was $66,060, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Education/Demands for this profession: The entry criteria, structure, teaching methodology and nature of chiropractic programs offered at chiropractic schools vary considerably around the world.Regardless of the model of education utilized, prospective chiropractors without relevant prior health care education or experience must spend no less than 4200 student/teacher contact hours (or the equivalent) in four years of full‐time education. This includes a minimum of 1000 hours of supervised clinical training.

Reflection: I do want to be a chiropractor because you can help people with pain problems for example bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons and many other ones.
