Duties and Responsibilities:They are responsible for enforcing local,state,and federal regulations that pertain to the sanitation of food and water,handling of hazardous and infectious wastes, and cleanliness and safety of housing and institutional environments.

Salary:$41,880

Education/Demands for this profession:Earn you Bachelor’s degree.Most workers earn their bachelor’s degree by a chemistry or biology.They involved coursework may also cover environmental law compliance,  compliance, industrial waste management, occupational safety, ergonomics, construction safety and organizational leadership, industrial hygiene and toxicology.They also have to gain more experience.Many of the employers are hired to safety professionals who have at least 1 to 3 years of professional experience.There are other specialty certifications that are available from organizations and other professional boards that you could receive.

Reflection:I kinda do want to be a  Environmental Health Specialist because i like working outside and i care about animals and plants on how they are growing.
