What the quote is saying is that it’s better to be a good person than a mean person because later in life when you leave to world and pass way people start to notice if you were greatful or not and if you were they will remember for their entire life.So it would be better to be a good person because they start to say nice things about you like ‘’oh,she did the school so that kids get education’’ and ‘’ they made it a safe community by sending patorls around the community’’ and etc.Also if your a mean person they wouldn’t be greatful for you.
